A threshold marks a real crossing — not a metaphor for inconvenience, but an actual passage from one chapter of life into another. Ground is what makes that crossing survivable: something solid enough to stand on while everything else is moving. That's the work here. Not rushing you across. Not leaving you stuck in the doorway. Giving you steady footing for as long as the crossing takes.

Clinical tools that hold up. Structured, outcome-focused approaches — not vague reassurance, but methods you can actually track progress against.
Room for what you believe. Faith, however you hold it, isn't set aside at the door. It's welcomed as part of how you understand suffering, meaning, and change.
Understanding, not just coping. You'll leave sessions with language for what's happening inside you, not just instructions for getting through the day.

A real starting point. Initial sessions establish what's actually going on, not just the surface complaint including how faith, history, and current stressors are intersecting.
Goals you can see. Treatment goals are specific and measurable, often using standardized tools to track change rather than relying on a general sense of "feeling better."
Regular check-ins on progress. Your treatment plan isn't static. It's reviewed and adjusted based on what the data — and you — are actually showing.
An end point in view. This isn't open-ended dependency. The goal is to get you standing on solid ground again, not to keep you in the doorway indefinitely.
Your first session is simply a chance for us to get acquainted. I'll ask about what's bringing you in, a little about your history, and what you're hoping life might look like on the other side of this. You don't need to have it all figured out or know exactly what to say — I'll help guide the conversation. We'll talk through what working together might look like, and you'll have plenty of space to ask your own questions. There's no pressure to commit to anything in that first hour. My goal is simply that you leave feeling heard, a little clearer, and with a sense of whether this is the right fit for you. Most people find it easier than they expected.

Adults navigating life transitions, grief, faith questions or faith wounds, anxiety, depression, relationships, identity shifts, communication and career challenges, and seasons of life that don't have a name yet.
This isn't a denominational practice, and you don't need to share a particular theology to be here. What matters is that your spiritual life — your questions as much as your conviction is treated as real, not as a symptom to be managed.
The work here draws from clinical approaches with demonstrated outcomes — methods that have been studied, refined, and shown to help people move through what they're facing, not just talk about it.
No single approach works for everyone, and no clinician is the right fit for every person. Part of the first conversation is figuring out, together, whether this approach matches what you need right now.

My life hasn't moved in a straight line, and I don't expect yours to either. Over more than 20 years, my work in the helping professions has grown up alongside raising a family, building a career, and weathering the same kinds of transitions that bring people to my door — career shifts, faith questions, loss, the slow work of becoming someone new. Those worlds were never really separate; they shaped each other, and they shaped the way I sit with people now. What hasn't changed across all of it is a genuine desire to know the person in front of me — not just the problem they're carrying. I bring warmth and directness in equal measure: a skilled listener who speaks plainly, builds real understanding alongside you, and holds steady, hopeful ground while you find your footing again.
